The Sweet Life is the perfect kind of candy store. The kind that Charlie runs into in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, it is small, quaint, and full of delicious treats from all over the world. Brother-sister team Sam Greenfield and Diane Miller bought this tiny neighborhood store in 2004 and stocked it to capacity with gummies, hard candy, dried fruit, and chocolate made on the premises. The store claims their motto is “anything can be dipped in chocolate,” and they mean it! Be sure to try the marshmallow kebabs drenched in milk chocolate, the hand-made macadamia nut clusters, chocolate dipped ginger, or one of the many kind of licorice (my favorite!).
