I am really into kids who go for it. Children who are passionate, and determined, and take a DIY approach in order to take care of business. For those of you who don’t know her, Tavi Gevinson is one of those kids. She has a definite opinion about fashion, and she is really good at expressing it.
She is a blogger, and so much more. She began her blog “Style Rookie” in 2008 at age 11. The story goes that her parents did not really know much about what their daughter was doing until Tavi had to ask their permission to appear in a New York Times magazine story. Since then she has appeared on the cover of Pop Magazine, has been featured on the pages of both Teen, French, and ItalianVogue, she is invited to fashion shows around the world, and serves as muse to designers. She is 14 years old, and everyone in the fashion industry knows who she is, all because she started a blog. Pretty impressive.
